Malaysia's Anti-Corruption Commission unveiled four paintings by Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Balthus, and Maurice Utrillo at its Putrajaya headquarters on Wednesday, marking their first public display after repatriation from New York last month. The artworks, valued at approximately US$198,000, were purchased with funds looted from the 1MDB scandal, from which over US$4.5 billion was stolen between 2009 and 2014 according to US investigators. MACC Chief Azam Baki described them as historical symbols of the scandal.
