Louisiana voters participate Saturday in a Republican runoff to replace Sen. Bill Cassidy, with Rep. Julia Letlow and state Treasurer John Fleming as the candidates. No candidate reached 50 percent in the primary, where Letlow received more than 44 percent, Fleming received 28 percent, and Cassidy placed third. The contest follows Cassidy's vote to convict former President Trump in his impeachment trial.
