Katalyst Space Technologies' Link satellite suffered thruster problems and entered an uncontrollable spin over the weekend, three weeks after reaching orbit, which disrupted communications with the spacecraft. The mission aims to rendezvous with and reboost the Swift telescope, which NASA launched in 2004 and which faces accelerated orbital decay this fall. NASA is funding the $30 million effort, assembled in under a year, while scientific observations remain on hold.
