Mona Khalil, 76, died from injuries sustained in an Israeli airstrike on her home, the Orange House, near al-Mansouri beach in southern Lebanon. The strike occurred two weeks before her death on a Friday; her Ethiopian housekeeper was also injured. The incident took place during the Israel-Hezbollah war that began March 2, which the Lebanese health ministry reports has killed more than 4,000 people including at least 600 women and children.
