Satellite imagery dated July 1 confirms construction of more than 23 kilometers of earthen barrier in central Gaza near Maghazi refugee camp, separating areas under Israeli control from the remainder of the territory. The barrier follows the yellow line established in the October ceasefire agreement and runs through previously demolished Palestinian communities. Israeli forces control over 50 percent of the Gaza Strip, which measures approximately 40 kilometers long and 11 kilometers wide and houses more than 2 million Palestinians.
