On May 28 the Israeli attorney-general’s office stated it would indict former Netanyahu advisers Eli Feldstein and Ari Rosenfeld on charges including transmission of classified information, possession of classified material, and destruction of evidence. The case centers on a 2024 leak of a classified document to German newspaper Bild that addressed Hamas’s stance on ceasefires and hostage releases during the Gaza war. A separate investigation into associate Yonatan Urich remains open in connection with the Qatargate matter.
