Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated on social media Sunday that there was no point in continuing peace talks with the United States. The statement followed Israeli strikes on Beirut's southern suburbs, including a hit in the Ghobeiry neighborhood, which Israel described as a response to Hezbollah rocket fire. Lebanon's National News Agency confirmed the strike in the Hezbollah-linked area known as Dahiyeh.
