Iran's Persian Gulf Strait Authority has issued warnings via X that vessels violating its transit arrangements in the Strait of Hormuz risk fines, detention, or confiscation, and has published a list of non-compliant vessels. The PGSA, described as a newly established body, requires cargo owners to consult the list and mandates that ships involved in transfers with restricted vessels will also face restrictions. Appeals for removal from the list must be submitted to Iranian maritime authorities.
