India and China held the 25th round of Special Representatives talks on the boundary question, chaired by Ajit Doval and Wang Yi, and agreed to pursue a political settlement while referencing the 2005 bilateral agreement. The dialogue occurred ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping's planned visit to India. Both sides emphasized that border peace and tranquillity support broader bilateral stability.
