Impulse Space announced a $500 million Series D round on June 2 that values the company at $4.26 billion and brings total capital raised above $1 billion. The Redondo Beach-based firm, founded by former SpaceX engineer Tom Mueller, is developing the Mira orbital platform for U.S. Space Force applications and the Helios vehicle for high-orbit satellite delivery. The round was co-led by 137 Ventures and Banner VC with participation from Founders Fund, Lux Capital, and Linse Capital.
