Federal immigration agents fatally shot two men during traffic stops in Texas and Maine in July 2019, with no body-camera footage available from either incident. Tom Homan stated that ICE will require at least one body camera per vehicle stop and that cameras have already been purchased with trainers in preparation. DHS reported deployment to more than half of field offices, with the remainder scheduled within 60 days.
