Google is rolling out Motion Assist, an Android 17 feature that uses device sensors to display moving peripheral indicators intended to reduce motion sickness during phone use in vehicles. The feature mirrors Apple's 2024 Motion Cues and includes user customization options for opacity, shapes, colors, and automatic activation. It is deploying in phases, with initial availability on some Pixel devices.
