Specific aid deliveries in May reached 1.5 million people with food parcels and 700,000 with cash assistance, while 60 percent of children under five received nutritional support. The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification projects that more than two-thirds of Gazans could face acute hunger by December despite the earlier downgrade from famine conditions.
