An external review commissioned by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and conducted by WilmerHale found two engagements with Jeffrey Epstein from 2011 to 2014, neither of which resulted in payments to Epstein or knowledge of his crimes. One involved an uncompleted donor-advised fund proposal and the other polio-related funding through the International Peace Institute. The foundation released the findings on Tuesday after interviewing more than 50 current and former staff members.
