U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper ruled that the Kennedy Center board exceeded its authority when it added President Trump's name to the institution in December. The center's general counsel subsequently issued a memo directing staff to remove all references from signage, documents, websites, and communications. The order requires physical signage changes by June 12.
