U.S. District Judge Reed O’Connor sentenced Benjamin Hanil Song to 100 years in prison and seven co-defendants to terms of 30–70 years on Tuesday in Fort Worth for their roles in the July 4, 2025 attack on the Prairieland Detention Center. Song was convicted of shooting a local police officer in the neck during the incident. Eight defendants, convicted at a March trial, also included Daniel Sanchez Estrada, who received 30 years for convictions tied to document concealment and conspiracy.
