A volunteer cataloguer found an 11th known copy of the Exeter broadside printing of the Declaration of Independence in Britain's National Archives in May. The document was seized in 1776 from the American privateer Dalton and had remained among prize records until its identification during routine archival work. It is the first Exeter printing located outside the United States.
