A report on children's social media access was presented in Brussels on July 13 by an expert panel commissioned by Ursula von der Leyen. The panel recommended no screens for babies and toddlers, supervised access for ages 3-12, and phased autonomous use for ages 13-18. Von der Leyen announced that the European Commission will introduce legislative proposals on the topic in the second half of the year.
