Diezani Alison-Madueke, 65, was found not guilty on five counts of accepting bribes and one count of conspiracy to commit bribery following a trial at Southwark Crown Court. The verdict came after a 13-year UK investigation into her tenure as Nigeria's petroleum minister from 2010 to 2015. Co-defendants Doye Agama and Olatimbo Ayinde were also acquitted on related charges.
