The policy follows fatal shootings of a Mexican man in Houston and a Colombian man in Biddeford, Maine, where agents lacked cameras. Prior rollout covered more than half of ICE field offices, with remaining offices scheduled to receive cameras within 60 days after a funding lapse during the partial government shutdown.
