Darline Graham Nordone, sister of the late Sen. Lindsey Graham, was appointed by Gov. Henry McMaster to complete his Senate term through January 2027 and announced her candidacy for a full six-year term. She received an endorsement from President Donald Trump and appeared on Fox News's Hannity program. Other Republican candidates including Reps. Ralph Norman and Russell Fry have entered the Aug. 11 special-election primary.
