A road crash on Tuesday in the Dawawis area of Ismailia governorate killed at least 18 people and injured about 30 others, for a total of 47 casualties. The victims were agricultural day laborers, mostly children aged 13 and 14 from villages in Sharqiya governorate, with the youngest victim aged 10. The incident occurred while the workers were traveling to a farm in Ismailia, and reports differ on whether one or two pick-up trucks were involved.
