CPC Corp., Taiwan will raise domestic gasoline prices by NT$0.7 per liter and diesel prices by NT$0.5 per liter starting midnight Monday through Aug. 2, with new prices set at NT$30.5 for 92-octane, NT$32.0 for 95-octane, NT$34.0 for 98-octane unleaded gasoline, and NT$29.3 for premium diesel. The adjustments follow a rise in average international crude from US$78.82 to US$90.08 per barrel under CPC’s floating mechanism weighted 70 percent Dubai and 30 percent Brent. CPC continues to absorb substantial losses despite the changes.
