The US Commerce Department sent a June 26 letter from Secretary Howard Lutnick allowing Anthropic to provide Claude Mythos 5 to more than 100 approved companies and institutions, including their foreign-national employees. The letter followed a June 12 export control order that had required suspension of access to certain models. Export restrictions remain in place for non-approved entities and for Fable 5.
