Guided tours at the Colosseum now operate until 11pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with capacity for 275 visitors per session. The summer program, funded by Italy’s culture ministry and already fully booked, doubles the previous two-evening schedule. The first-century amphitheatre, which holds up to 50,000 spectators, draws as many as 20,000 daily visitors in peak season.
