Framing Analysis
Dr. Mehmet Oz, administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, will conduct the White House press briefing on Tuesday at 1 p.m. while press secretary Karoline Leavitt is on maternity leave. The briefing is expected to address a final rule requiring most Medicaid beneficiaries ages 19-64 to provide proof of work or community service. Additional stand-ins have previously included Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Vice President JD Vance, and Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent.
