Torrential rain fell across central Texas for a third consecutive day, producing up to 20 inches over two days and triggering a National Weather Service warning of a large flood wave on the Guadalupe River. A tornado formed near San Antonio while floodwaters isolated Uvalde and prompted more than 75 rescues, primarily from vehicles.
