Vladimir Tkachuk, director of Uraldronzavod which produces Upyr drones, was gravely injured when his car exploded late Tuesday in Bolshoy Istok outside Yekaterinburg; his driver was killed. The incident occurred roughly 870 miles east of Moscow at a factory founded in 2023 that supplies the Russian military. No attribution for the explosion has been reported by available sources.
