Canada will impose tariffs on more than 700 US products beginning September 8, including 50 percent duties on steel and aluminum. The measures follow the collapse of US-Canada trade talks and US tariffs of 50 percent on $20 billion of Canadian imports. Ottawa also announced a $7.5 billion business support package while stating the response matches US actions dollar for dollar.
