Broadcom posted second-quarter revenue of $22.19 billion against Wall Street estimates of $22.27 billion, while issuing third-quarter guidance of approximately $29.4 billion that exceeded analyst projections of $28.54 billion. Shares fell more than 13 percent in extended trading following the results. Marvell separately projected its custom-chip business would exceed $10 billion in annual revenue by 2029 and forecast its own upcoming quarter above estimates.
