The Bombay High Court granted bail on Friday to Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre and four co-accused arrested for allegedly assaulting doctors and staff at a municipal hospital in Dombivali. The bench, consisting of Acting Chief Justice Ravindra Ghuge and Justice Gautam Ankhad, imposed conditions including staying outside Maharashtra until the charge sheet is filed and surrendering passports. The case was transferred to a fast-track court in Kalyan with orders for police protection at the facility.
