The Bombay High Court cancelled bail for Saurabh Luthra, Gaurav Luthra, and Ajay Gupta, co-owners of Birch by Romeo Lane nightclub in Arpora, North Goa, where a December fire killed 25 people. The court ordered the three to surrender within two weeks while allowing fresh bail applications to be decided by the trial court within two weeks. The ruling followed a state challenge to earlier trial-court bail grants in the fire and related forgery cases.
