The Board of Peace met with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday to discuss implementation of a ceasefire agreement reached last year. Nikolay Mladenov, the high representative for Gaza, held talks focused on decommissioning weapons in the Gaza Strip and transitioning to civilian governance. The Board assured Netanyahu that any Israeli withdrawal would occur only after Hamas completes disarmament.
