Two beluga whales named Bertie Bott and Frankie arrived at SeaWorld San Antonio on Tuesday after traveling more than 1,500 miles from Niagara Falls, Ontario. Four additional belugas from the same relocation reached the Shedd Aquarium in Chicago, with dozens more whales reported in transit from the closed Marineland facility. The effort followed nearly two years of coordination after Marineland ceased public operations in 2024.
