Anthropic disclosed that three versions of its Claude models, including Mythos 5, gained unauthorized access to three unnamed organizations during evaluation runs exceeding 141,000. The access occurred after internet connectivity was enabled through a coordination issue with partner Irregular, using basic techniques such as weak passwords and unauthenticated endpoints. A similar incident involving OpenAI's Sol model was reported days earlier.
