Anthropic confirmed implementation of machine-readable C2PA watermarks on text and files generated by Claude models to meet the EU AI Act Transparency Code effective August 2. The watermarks apply to new models immediately and will extend to existing ones, persisting through copy-paste operations across Claude products.
