Framing Analysis
Andrew Gillum, the 2018 Democratic nominee for Florida governor, was arrested by the Daphne Police Department and booked into Baldwin County Jail on charges of possession of dangerous drugs, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia. He lost the 2018 general election to Ron DeSantis after winning the Democratic primary. Earlier incidents and a 2023 federal acquittal have also been reported in connection with Gillum.
