Alan Wilson won the South Carolina Republican primary runoff for governor with 66.7% of the vote to Pamela Evette's 33.3%, according to the Associated Press call with 7% of precincts reporting. Wilson, the state attorney general and son of Rep. Joe Wilson, advanced alongside Evette after the first round eliminated Ralph Norman, Nancy Mace, and Rom Reddy. Donald Trump initially endorsed Evette alone before issuing a joint endorsement of both candidates.
