U.S. Rep. Shomari Figures, the Democratic incumbent in Alabama’s 2nd Congressional District, is unopposed in his primary and seeking a second term. Republicans redrew the district following a U.S. Supreme Court decision related to the Voting Rights Act, and six GOP candidates, including one endorsed by President Donald Trump, will compete for the nomination on Tuesday. Voters will also select nominees in three other affected Alabama districts.
