Framing Analysis
Aimee Bock, former executive director of Feeding Our Future, was sentenced to 500 months in prison and ordered to pay nearly $243 million in restitution for her role in a roughly $250 million fraud scheme involving federal child nutrition funds. A jury convicted her last year on conspiracy charges, and 78 defendants were indicted in the case overall. The sentence was handed down by Judge Nancy Brasel following recommendations from prosecutors and defense arguments.
