Todd Blanche, serving as acting attorney general, issued an order on Sunday to formally end the $1.8 billion anti-weaponization fund created from a prior IRS lawsuit settlement. Outgoing Republican senators John Cornyn and Thom Tillis then agreed to advance his nomination after receiving the document. The Senate Judiciary Committee is scheduled to vote on the nomination on Tuesday.
