A 7.4-magnitude earthquake struck Colombia on Monday, the strongest in the country this century. At least 265 people were killed, more than 3,500 injured, and nearly 500 remain unaccounted for after four days of rescue operations in cities including Pereira and Cali. President Abelardo de la Espriella declared an economic emergency and three days of national mourning while regional aid arrived.
