Renuka, a 26-year-old dancer from Bolaram and resident of Kukatpally, was found dead in a Hotel V Grand room on July 3, 2026. Both Times of India and The Hindu report she checked in with a male companion, ordered food, made a video call mentioning her upcoming birthday, and died by hanging. Police registered a case, conducted a postmortem, and detained her companion, who is married with three children.
