Brian Fitzpatrick and Tom Suozzi, co-chairs of the House Problem Solvers Caucus, introduced legislation to block disbursements from a Justice Department fund created to settle claims of government victimization. The fund has drawn bipartisan opposition, including from the Long Island delegation, while its reported size remains disputed between $1.8 billion and $1.776 billion.
